WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
What are you working on?
You don’t need to choose a tier before getting in touch. We’ll work that out together.
01 Simple sessions
Record a vocal to a backing track, capture a straightforward performance or bring a finished mix for standalone mastering.
02 Song production
Work on a single or focused release. We’ll agree the recording, production, editing, mixing and mastering you need.
I can also contribute instruments or vocals as part of the agreed work.
03 Larger projects
Plan an EP or album, work across several stages, or bring together recordings and contributors from different places.
We agree the stages, responsibilities and final files before the work begins.
STUDIO RATES
A clear starting point.
$70
CAD / hour
Normally a two-hour minimum.
$500
CAD / studio day
A standard eight-hour studio day.
Plus applicable GST/HST. The same rates apply across the three project types.
We agree the work and estimated cost before booking. Any additional work needs your approval.
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
A few useful answers.
What should I bring?
Bring working instruments, strings or sticks, lyrics and guides. We’ll agree any file formats before the session. Preparation and setup help uses booked time.
Can I use your equipment?
Suitable, available studio equipment is included. We’ll agree any rentals or outside musicians and costs first.
What about revisions?
Mixing normally includes one consolidated revision round, unless we agree otherwise. New parts, re-recording or a new creative direction are additional work we discuss first.
What will I receive?
We’ll agree your final files and formats before work begins. Full production normally includes the approved final WAV. Extra versions, stems and multitracks need separate agreement.
